YogaBellies RichmondTríona is an extremely experienced and passionate yoga practitioner, who has been practising yoga for the past 15 years and teaching yoga for more than five years. She focuses particularly on alignment, the fusion of breath with movement, and deep restorative poses to strengthen and relax both mind and body. Tríona has a full CYT Yoga Qualification and is a member of the International Yoga Network.

YogaBellies Pregnancy Yoga:

Unique and revolutionary prenatal yoga classes for pregnant women. YogaBellies uses traditional yoga postures (asana), adapted and beneficial for pregnancy and the common ailments associated with pregnancy such as back pain. Classes include a specially created combination of self-hypnosis and yoga nidra (deep relaxation) and breathing techniques for pregnancy and birth (pranayama).

YogaBellies RichmondYogaBellies prenatal yoga classes are gentle and safe for all women, whether you are new to yoga or have years of practice. Each class focuses on different aspects of pregnancy and birth. This is more than just a yoga class but also training in deep relaxation and preparation for birth and motherhood.

YogaBellies Mum & Baby Yoga:

The body undergoes huge change during pregnancy and childbirth. YogaBellies for Mum & Baby is a unique postnatal yoga class which focuses on mums’ three main areas of concern: the back, the abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor. YogaBellies focuses on rebuilding these three key areas postnatally, at a pace that suits you.

YogaBellies RichmondAt YogaBellies for Mum & Baby, you don’t ‘put baby in the corner’ while you practice yoga. YogaBelllies’ exclusive postnatal classes also incorporate baby yoga postures for your little one, so that they can practice with mummy! As every aspect of your life will include baby now, YogaBellies helps you integrate baby into your yoga practice, while feeling the benefits of yoga for you too. You will also learn breath awareness and relaxation techniques, which help to increase energy levels and allow you to relax while with baby (yes it is possible!!).

Classes are held at the Richmond & Hillcroft Adult Community College, Parkshot in Richmond, and in the dance studio in Rize (previously Movers & Shapers), St Margarets Road in St Margarets. Mum & Baby Yoga is offered in blocks of six classes, and Pregnancy Yoga is offered in blocks of eight classes. Drop-in classes are also available subject to availability.
