Falcons School for GIRLSFalcons School for Girls is a non-selective school based in a leafy conservation area in Putney. Peregrines Nursery School, a co-educational nursery for boys and girls aged 3 to 4, opened on the same site as Falcons School for Girls in September 2019. Boys attending Peregrines Nursery will have a priority place at Falcons Boys School in Richmond or Falcons Pre-Prep in Chiswick as long as the school can meet the child’s educational needs.

Falcons School for Girls is a small, family school. The children are confident, cheerful and motivated; the staff knowledgeable, kind and creative, with high expectations. In our fast-changing world, Falcons School for Girls identifies the close links between a pupil’s academic achievement and emotional wellbeing and believes that happy children learn.

Reaching far beyond the national curriculum, Falcons School for Girls strives to strengthen and enhance the pupils’ learning pathways through carefully planned lessons and activities, supported by a rich co-curricular programme. The school has very clear academic goals, proven by an outstanding history of 11+ results.

Academic Scholarships

Falcons School for Girls is pleased to offer academic scholarships to girls in Year 4 which last throughout the pupil’s time at the school. These scholarships represent 25% fee remission. The scholarship assessments take place at the end of the Spring term and are open to internal and external pupils in Year 3.

Music Scholarships

There are also music scholarships available to pupils in Year 4 lasting throughout the pupil’s time at the school. The scholarships are currently available to String or Woodwind players. Singers may also apply but must be willing to take up a second instrument offered by the school, should they receive the scholarship. The scholarship auditions take place at the end of the Spring term and are open to internal and external pupils in Year 3.

Bursaries

Bursaries are available from the Alpha Plus Group’s charity partner, the Gold Standard Charitable Trust. These are awarded on a purely means tested basis and give up to 100% fee reduction.
