Barnes Summer Play School

Barnes Summer Play School is open this summer! They are operating from 27th July to 28th August, in line with the government’s COVID-19 guidance ā€“ their policies and how your children’s experience will be affected can be found here. Suffice to say there will still be lots of fun and adventure to be had by all!

Barnes Summer Play School is a family run business that was established in 1989 ā€“ in 2019 it celebrated its 30th year! Taking place over the summer holidays (late July to late August) for children aged three to 14 years, it is held in the lovely setting of The Village Nursery in Barnes, which has its own playground and opens up onto Barnes Green and Pond.

The main aim of the play school is for children to have enormous fun during the holidays and just enjoy being children. Their team is hand-picked to make sure that everyone has a brilliant time in their unique and fun environment. You name it, they provide it! Children will enjoy art, drama, dance, fitness, yoga, face painting, reading, music, and park visits; and older children (8-14yrs) can participate in a wide range of off-site activities such as trampoline parks, high ropes, museums, boat trips, theme parks, water parks, crazy golf and laser tag. There really is something for everyone to enjoy, which is why the children keep on going back year after year. The play school is also Ofsted registered, so you can rest assured that your children will be in safe hands.
