Monkey Music

We love Monkey Music and we’re sure your little ones will too as they learn about music in an enjoyable and friendly environment.

Monkey MusicMonkey Says “Music really is the food of love!”. Monkey Music classes are rich, nourishing and fantastic fun! Monkey Music has been running classes in Barnes for over 15 years and has had the great pleasure and joy of sharing music with hundreds of Barnes babies and toddlers. Classes are led by terrifically talented local mums Pippa and Rachel, and Jeni (who runs the franchise and has been taking classes in Barnes since 2002). Jeni, a teacher and music coordinator in primary schools for over ten years, knows just how important music can be in a young person’s life, and her passion and sense of fun is wonderfully inspiring.

Monkey MusicEvery class is an adventure and Jeni and Rachel make sure every child gets the most from the wonderfully named classes. There’s Rock ‘n’ Roll for the babies right through to Ding Dong for the 3 year olds… and in between there’s Heigh Ho and Jiggety Jig. Just those fun names make us feel like cheeky monkeys!

Babies at RRMonkey Music really believes that music can make a difference in our children’s lives – it’s a wonderful way to share time with your little one. Their progressive and educational curriculum has been carefully designed to give children a real feel for music, to help them understand its rhythm and sounds, and to nurture a love of music that will last them their entire life.

If you haven’t experienced the magic of Monkey Music, why not go along for a complimentary session and see what they are all about. Classes run at Kitson Hall, Kitson Road in Barnes Village on Mondays & Wednesdays, and at St Michael’s & All Angels Community Centre, corner of Charles Street & Cross Street in Barnes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are also classes further afield in Putney and Fulham.
