Friday to Sunday 17th-19th November

  • – 6.00-8.00pm (Friday) & 10.00am-5.00pm (Saturday & Sunday): Sparkle Contemporary Craft & Gourmet Food Fair, Teddington
  • Landmark Arts Centre, Ferry Road TW11: A dazzling range of contemporary work from more than 70 designer makers including jewellery, glass, ceramics, stylish accessories and so much more, plus a mouth-watering selection of gourmet food. Hundreds of bright and bold gift ideas. Entry £4.00 per person (under 18s free).

Saturday 18th November

  • – 10.00am-3.00pm: St Mary’s Christmas Fair, Barnes
  • Kitson Hall, Kitson Road SW13: Christmas gifts and cards, jewellery, tombola, garden gifts and plants, homemade cakes and preserves, bric-a-brac, toys, children’s activities, raffle and silent auction, all-day cafe.

Saturday & Sunday 25th/26th November

  • – 11.00am-4.00pm: Christmas Shopping Weekend, London Museum Of Water & Steam
  • Green Dragon Lane, Brentford TW8: Pick up some unique gifts for all the family at the Museum’s Christmas shopping weekend. Browse the special Museum shop gift collection. Give a gift that last the whole year with their annual pass gift cards, or treat someone to one of their new experience packages. Meet the on-site artists in their studios. And make a day of it with the engines in steam and seasonal fayre in the café.

Sunday 26th November

  • – 10.00am-4.00pm: Christmas Fair, Strawberry Hill House
  • Waldegrave Road, Strawberry Hill TW1: The Fair will once again be taking place in the rooms and grounds of Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture, offering a unique range of Christmas gifts for sale, children’s arts and crafts activities, live music, and delicious Christmas fare from local producers. Entry £4.00 per person.

Tuesday 5th December

  • – 5.00-8.00pm: White Hart Lane Charity Shopping Evening, Barnes
  • White Hart Lane, Barnes SW13: Soak up the festive atmosphere whilst browsing presents and supporting our local independents. Prizes, live music, bell ringers, cocktails, carol singers, mince pies, grand raffle, hot chocolate, Father Christmas, treehouse grotto, children’s games.

Thursday & Saturday 7th/9th December

  • – Thursday 4.00-9.00pm; Saturday 11.00am-5.00pm: The East Sheen Christmas Market
  • The Hare & Hounds, Upper Richmond Road West SW14: Thursday: late night shopping until 8.00pm in East Sheen, children’s treasure hunt, Santa’s grotto from 5.30-8.00pm, and evening Christmas market. Saturday: shop local for gifts, cards, decorations and more, Christmas market, free children’s face painting and Santa’s grotto from 1.00-3.00pm. The market will be held in the Hare & Hounds’ courtyard and garden within specially erected marquees.

Friday 8th December

  • – 11.00am-8.00pm: Christmas Festival, Barnes
  • Barnes Village SW13: This year’s Festival kicks off with a NEW BCA Christmas Lights Fair at The Sun Inn which will open at 11.00am. There will be a selection of carefully chosen Christmas gifts which you can browse through whilst enjoying a glass of mulled wine from The Sun’s all-day outside bar. St Osmund’s School will be singing Christmas Carols at lunch time and then at 5.00pm, the Christmas Festival gets going in earnest! Many of the local choirs – and a handbell ringing group! – will be performing around the streets of Barnes and local shops will be staying open until 8.00pm. And of course Santa will also make an appearance! He starts his visit at The Castelnau Centre at 5.30pm and will then move onto his grotto at The OSO around 6.00pm. The OSO will also be hosting a Christmas Market with more tempting Christmas gift ideas – open 5.00pm-8.00pm.

Friday to Sunday 8th-10th December

  • – 10.00am-7.00pm (Friday & Saturday) & 10.00am-4.30pm (Sunday): BBC Good Food Festive Feast, Hampton Court
  • Hampton Court Palace, East Moseley KT8: The perfect start to your seasonal celebrations. Stock up on treats in time for Christmas from artisan producers and pick up great gifts for food lovers. Enjoy entertainment and sing-along carols and festive classics from local choirs, plus be inspired in live cookery demonstrations in the FEAST Kitchen. Experience the wonders of this historic royal palace as part of a delicious day out.
